This course is a two day program -16 hours. It is a requirement under the Worksafe BC OH&S code that divers working for an employer or contractor using Enriched Air Nitrox to have Commercial Nitrox training. Most dive companies on Vancouver Island are using Nitrox on a daily bases.
Day one focuses on the academic part of the course, we learn about the history,divetables and gas formulas that are related to Nitrox and more!
Day two is filled with completing 2 dives to the wrecks- Mackenzie and/or the GB Church. Student learn to calculate, and mix their own dive tank and complete dives using Nitrox.

Handling 100% oxygen
Equipment specific to Nitrox
Mixing of Nitrox as a breathing gas
2 dives using Nitrox as a breathing gas
Occupational SCUBA or Surface Supply, Current medical, First Aid.
